Here at Chartwell we are pleased to offer both Denplan Care and Denplan Essentials plans.
Denplan Care offers you the chance to spread the cost of your dental treatment over 12 affordable monthly payments.
It provides you with routine and restorative care from your dentist which includes:
- Check–ups
- Scaling, polishing and other hygiene treatment
- Preventative dental advice and therapy
- Dental x-rays
- Necessary fillings
- Any necessary extractions
Major restorative care from your dentist:
- Periodontal (gum) treatment
- Crowns, bridges, dentures, inlays (excluding laboratory fees)
- Root Canal Treatment
Denplan Care does not cover:
- Laboratory Fees and prescriptions
- Any treatment excluded by the dentist in your contract, which is then payable by you to the dentist
- Referral to a specialist or specialist treatment
- Treatment carried out by someone other than by your registered dentist, except when you need an emergency temporary dental treatment
- Orthodontics, implants, cosmetic treatment
- Sedation fees

How it works
An initial oral examination is required in order to assess your current oral health (which you may be charged for). Based on this examination you will then be advised which of the five categories your oral health score falls, which will then determine your monthly fee.
Your payment is collected by Denplan by monthly Direct Debit or, if you prefer, you can pay annually. A one-off registration fee is payable to Denplan when you join.
You can save up to 15% on a Family Group Discount if one Direct Debit mandate covers more than one Denplan patient at Chartwell.
Denplan Essentials
A dental maintenance plan that covers essential needs,
This simple dental maintenance plan can be tailored to fit you needs. This essentials package allows you to spread your costs over a 12 month period covering regular examination visits to the dentist and hygienist if required.
How it works
Following an initial examination, your dentist will advise you of the number of dental examinations, hygiene appointments and x-rays you are likely to need one an annual basis.
Your dentist will then let you know your monthly fee to spread the cost of your ongoing routine care.
Your payment is collected by Denplan by monthly Direct Debit or, if you prefer, you can pay annually. A one-off registration fee is payable to Denplan when you join.
